Could it be the end for Kodak? Once a mighty player in the photography world with inspiring products such as the Brownie and Instamatic, now a sinking ship in the digital industry. But lets not forget: the photography community owes a lot to Kodak: Paving the way for the cost effective camera for the mass market, amazing advancements with the color Kodachrome film (see image -taken from my personal collection: Holiday magazine June 1949), and the simple, yet beautiful functionalist industrial design of products, by designers such as Kenneth Grange, are just a handful of the company’s innovations and achievements.

My friend just made my day by showing me these amazing...

My friend just made my day by showing me these amazing re-imagination movie poster designs by Peter Stults. Surprisingly not to some kind of fantasy, cliché Vietnam war scenario, but instead of a time when I was in a bar in Greymouth, New Zealand and decided to put this song on the duke box, mostly because I knew it was 11mins 44 seconds long, and I wanted to get my moneys worth. About ten minutes into the song, my choice nearly resulted in a bar brawl. Retrospectively, I have no regrets of this choice.

Made some snowflakes the other day.
